Accidental insurance covers drops, spills, cracked screens, or broken keyboards that result in the device being unusable and needing to be replaced. However, it is important to note that intentional damage or abuse/neglect of the device is not covered by accidental insurance.

**if any device stops working because of a hardware or software issue it will be replaced by the district at no cost.

Students are responsible for the general care of school-issued technology. Devices that are broken or fail to work properly must be reported to the school district technology support personnel. Special care must be taken to protect the device screen, as any damage to the screen will result in the need to replace the entire device. District-issued technology is the property of the district and all users and their parents/guardians must familiarize themselves with the following School Board Policies as they relate to the use of district-issued technology.
