The GARNET VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT has partnered with LEGACY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES to provide the Garnet Valley school community the option of purchasing device insurance for their school-district issued device. This program is optional and is only offered to Garnet Valley staff members and families who want the peace of mind of having their device insured for accidental damages for the 2024-2025 school year. Accidental insurance covers drops, spills, cracked screens, or broken keyboards that result in the device being unusable and needing to be replaced. Accidental insurance DOES NOT cover intentional damage or abuse/neglect of the device.
All damages to school-issued devices should be immediately reported to each school’s Technology Support Specialist.
